Whether on or off road, Nissan’s Pathfinder shines with its dependable V6 engine and available all-wheel drive. The mid-sized crossover SUV’s large and functional interior easily accommodates families and cargo, as well. Here’s your quick guide to the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder.

Powertrain

Under the hood of every Pathfinder, you’ll find Nissan’s 3.5L V6 motor with dual overhead cams and multi-point fuel injection. Most models produce a hearty 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, but the Rock Creek increases those figures to 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft for additional power when navigating the harshest terrain. Combined with the vehicle’s sturdy construction, this performance results in a towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds.

New for 2023, the engine is now paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission featuring a manual shift mode with paddle shifters. An available enhanced transmission cooling system allows the powertrain to perform at its best during extended off-road excursions.

All-New Rock Creek Trim

Meant for serious adventuring, the rugged Pathfinder Rock Creek is equipped with a unique combination of features. Sitting on exclusive 18-inch Beadlock-style aluminum alloy wheels, this model sports larger all-terrain tires, a redesigned front fascia and bumper, black accenting, and a black tubular roof rack.

Its suspension is geared towards increased off-road performance and raises ground clearance from 7.1 to 7.7 inches. Inside, the Rock Creek provides a unique style with orange contrast stitching.

Passenger Cabin

Just like its exterior, the Pathfinder’s cabin was designed to be rugged and durable. Up to eight passengers can be comfortably seated in its three rows, and there’s an option to replace the second row bench seats with reclining captain’s chairs. The second row’s EZ Flex system allows for its seats to slide forward and tilt with ease so that getting into the third row is never a hassle.

Tri-zone automatic climate control and air microfiltration come standard, keeping the cabin fresh and cozy. For extra touches of luxury, buyers can choose plush semi-aniline leather upholstery with quilted inserts, heated and ventilated seating, ambient lighting, and a driver’s seat memory system. There are plenty of storage compartments throughout the cabin, including under-floor storage in the cargo area.

Infotainment

The standard 8-inch and available 9-inch touchscreen displays come with the most advanced version of the NissanConnect infotainment system. Bluetooth hands-free, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice recognition all come standard with the system. The available navigation system offers door-to-door directions with 3D building graphics, which comes in handy when you have to park at a longer distance from your destination.

An available 13-speaker Bose premium audio system delivers crystal-clear sound with Acoustic Waveguide Technology.

The Nissan Pathfinder backs up its rugged looks with capable performance while fulfilling the role of a comfortable family vehicle. Visit Carlock Nissan of Tupelo today and test drive the new model!
